Q. How can I place an Order?
A: Orders can be placed by the website, telephone, or email.

Q: What is the minimum order required?
A: We require a minimum order of 5 sandwiches per platter. Ideally large orders should be placed no later than 4pm on the day before.
Allow 1 hour for small orders on the day but check for availability.

Q. Can you help us find: a location, a florist, and a photographer?
A: Depending on your location we can help you find the most appropriate venue for your event and a photographer and florist that will meet you at the premises.

Q. Do you have sample menus?
A. You can find a sample of our menus online or we could arrange a meeting where we will discuss your needs and also bring with us our brochure with enclosed our menus.

Q. What does the catering include beside the food?
A. Together with catering we provide the option of china hire

Q. Are you insured?  
A: Yes

Q. Do you provide tasting?
A. Depending on the event we can organise for an open day at your premises where you and your employees can try Spiazzo’s products
 
Q. Can I have a tailor made menu?
A. Absolutely! You can select whatever you like from our extended menus. 

Q. Can you provide for special dietary needs?
A. Our finger buffet includes: Meat, Vegetarian and fish/seafood. The best thing to do is to arrange a meeting where we can show you our different selection of menus and where we can discuss any special dietary needs. 

Q. How many staff will be at my event?
A. Depending on the size of the event 

Q. Do your staff wear uniforms?
A: Yes

Q. Do you provide any china hire?
A. Yes, we provide plates, cutleries, glasses, salt and pepper, ashtrays ,linen and paper napkins, glass jugs, tea towels, cork screws, round drink trays, trestle tables, large table cloth. All of the above are provided at an additional cost that can be agreed once we meet.

Q: Who is responsible for the loss and/or damage of the equipment hired?
A: The client is wholly responsible for all equipment hired from the time of delivery until collection. The client should, in their own interest, ensure that all such equipment is insured. Any breakages, loss or damage will be charged to the client at full replacement cost.

Q: What are the average platter prices?
A: Platter prices may vary, some prices may include VAT. There is no delivery charge, unless the order falls out of our catchments area.
We aim to hold our price for the duration of this list but prices may change depending on fluctuation in the market place however, you THE CUSTOMER will be informed before any such event take place.

Q. How will I know the total cost of the event?
A. We will send you a final quote together with our Terms and Conditions. Written quotations are valid for one month from the date of quotation. Any booking is provisional until spiazzo receives a signed copy accepting the Terms and Conditions and the required deposit (this does not apply to clients who order on a regular weekly basis).

Q: Do you require a Deposit?
A: For special events and functions a deposit of 50% of the quoted price is due no later than 14 days before the date of the event.

For larger events, the company reserves the right to charge a non-refundable deposit of up to 25% of the quoted price, payable on acceptance of the quotation and the balance of the deposit of 50% of the quoted price shall be payable no later than 7 days before the event.

Q. What payment method do you accept?
A: Unless agreed and/or a credit account has been set up, the following terms will apply.

We request payment for first order by credit card, cheque or cash, thereafter an account would be set up if you are a corporate client and order on a regular basis. Cheques to be made payable to 'spiazzo delivery service Ltd.'

Unless otherwise agreed in advance in writing all invoices/balances are due within 28 days of date of function. Payment may be made by sterling Cheque, credit card of BACS.
Spiazzo reserves the right to charge 2% above Natwest base rate on overdue invoices.

Q: What happen if we want to cancel the order?
A: Any cancellation of an event by the client must be notified to spiazzo in writing.
In the event of such cancellation the following percentages of the quoted price will be payable by the customer to the Company:

For special functions and events cancellation within 7 days of the date booked for the event - 50% of the quoted price

Cancellation within 3 days - 100% of the quoted price.
For regular orders (e.g. a delivered service) cancellation within 24 hours of the date booked for the event - 50% of the invoice price.

Cancellation on same day - 100% of invoice price.
